Do I need insurance?▼
No. YourMD visits and care plans are self-pay, with prices listed upfront. Medication is never included in the care fee — retail prescriptions are paid to the pharmacy, a compounded medication is a final price proposal you accept and pay to YourMD once, and GLP-1 medication is billed by NovoCare, LillyDirect, or your insurance if your plan covers it.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?▼
Yes. Telehealth consultations are eligible, and many prescribed medications are eligible when you pay the pharmacy, for HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) payment. Your HSA/FSA debit card works like any other card at checkout.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?▼
Yes. All subscription plans can be cancelled at any time with no penalty. You'll retain access through the end of your current billing period.
What's included in the subscription price?▼
The monthly subscription fee covers physician services: your initial evaluation, ongoing monthly clinical check-ins, dose titration, unlimited secure portal messaging, and routing your prescription through the manufacturer's pharmacy savings program (NovoCare or LillyDirect). GLP-1 medications are billed separately through those programs at manufacturer-direct prices. No medication is ever included in the subscription fee. Retail prescriptions (sildenafil, tadalafil, finasteride, minoxidil, tretinoin, metformin, sirolimus) are sent to a pharmacy that works for you: a local retail pharmacy such as Walmart, or a low-cost online pharmacy, and you pay the pharmacy directly; a compounded medication is a separate add-on: you receive a final price proposal (medication, shipping and our care fee) to accept, make one payment to YourMD for that proposal, and the licensed compounding pharmacy prepares and ships it.
Are the consultation and medication separate for GLP-1 programs?▼
Yes — for GLP-1 weight management programs, the physician service fee ($79–$149/month) and medication are separate charges. GLP-1 medications are FDA-approved branded products for weight management (Wegovy, the Wegovy pill, Zepbound, Foundayo) billed through NovoCare or LillyDirect manufacturer savings programs. This model gives you manufacturer-quality medications at transparent, manufacturer-direct pricing. For ED, hair loss, dermatology, and every other program, medication is also separate: you pay the pharmacy directly.
Does YourMD ship my medication?▼
YourMD does not ship medication. Retail prescriptions are handled by the pharmacy that fills them (a local retail pharmacy such as Walmart, or a low-cost online pharmacy) under that pharmacy's terms. Compounded medications ship from the licensed compounding pharmacy after you accept a final price proposal (medication + shipping + care) and make one payment to YourMD for that proposal. GLP-1 shipping is handled and priced by NovoCare, LillyDirect, or your insurer's pharmacy.
