Not the starting price. Not the first-month price. The number that leaves your account every month, for as long as you're with us.
Not our own — we didn't have any yet. We read thousands of reviews and forum threads about other telehealth services. Almost none of the complaints were about the medicine. Four patterns came up again and again.
An introductory rate quietly becomes the standard rate. Nobody remembers agreeing to the second number.
A clinically appropriate dose increase arrives as a higher invoice. Care decisions start feeling like purchase decisions.
Consultation, shipping, refill processing, follow-up. Each is small. Together they can exceed the medication.
The best rate required committing three, six, or twelve months upfront — before knowing whether the treatment worked.
These are the structures we found across the market, with the ranges we observed. We've kept them unnamed on purpose: this is about how the pricing is built, not about naming anyone. Every figure is a publicly advertised price; our methodology is at the bottom of this page.
The advertised price is real. It's just conditional on a commitment made before you know if it works.
Your bill tracks how often you have sex. Some people are fine with that. Many find it uncomfortable.
Each line is defensible on its own. The total is the part nobody quotes you.
No commitment. Cancel any time. A dose change doesn't change your price.
For several common medications — finasteride, metformin, atorvastatin, generic sildenafil tablets — your neighborhood pharmacy with a discount coupon will beat our price. Sometimes by a lot. A generic sildenafil tablet can run $1–$4 a dose, and less at some pharmacies.
We're not going to pretend otherwise. Our YourMDRx Savings tool searches savings programs for any medication, including ones we'd otherwise sell you. We don't earn anything when you use it.
If all you need is a prescription for a cheap generic, our Rx Renew plan does exactly that — we write it, send it to your own pharmacy, and you pay pharmacy prices. Our plans make sense when you want the physician relationship, the formulation you can't get at retail, and one predictable bill. Not otherwise.
Every pricing choice is a trade. Here's what we chose and what we gave up choosing it.
The price on this page is the price in month twelve. We don't run a promotional first month.
What it cost us: a lower entry price is the single most effective acquisition tool in this market. Skipping it means we convert fewer people at the top of the funnel. We'd rather have that conversation now than a cancellation later.
Within a plan, a clinical dose adjustment doesn't move the price. Your physician changes the dose because it's right, not because it's billable.
What it cost us: higher doses cost us more from the pharmacy, so we absorb that. We priced the plan around the typical dose rather than the cheapest one, which makes our starting number look higher than it needs to.
Most plans ship a 90-day supply. Shipping is the largest fixed cost per package, so shipping four times a year instead of twelve saves real money.
What we did with it: passed it through. This is why a plan can include the physician, the medication, and delivery and still work. Some medications have a shorter stability window and must ship monthly — those are priced separately and labeled.
Where a retail generic clearly beats us, we don't put it in a subscription. We write the prescription and send it to your pharmacy instead.
What it cost us: those would have been easy recurring revenue. They'd also have been the products patients later realized they overpaid for.
Each plan includes physician evaluation, your prescription, pharmacy fulfillment, free shipping, unlimited messaging, and refills. Cancel any time. Plans are rolling out — anything not yet open for enrollment is marked on the treatments page.
Rolling out now: the table below is the new plan lineup. Until a plan opens for enrollment, the price at checkout is our current (in some cases lower) legacy price — and if you see a lower price at checkout, that's the one you pay. We'd rather show you the roadmap honestly than surprise you either way.

Structures A, B, and C describe pricing models we observed across multiple direct-to-consumer telehealth services, using prices those services published on their own websites. Figures are ranges rather than single points, and each structure reflects more than one company — none describes a single competitor.
We compare pricing structure only. We make no comparison of clinical quality, safety, or outcomes, and nothing here should be read as a claim that any treatment works better than another.
Prices move. This page was compiled in July 2026 and is reviewed quarterly. If you find a figure that's out of date, tell us at support@yourmd.online and we'll correct it.
Medications prescribed by YourMD are dispensed by state-licensed U.S. pharmacies. Some are compounded preparations. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by FDA for safety or effectiveness; your physician prescribes them based on your individual clinical evaluation. We'll tell you which is which before you're charged.
Free screening. A physician reviews your case before anything is charged.
