United Medical Group
Here's exactly what to expect — from your first health questionnaire to your first consultation with a board-certified MD.
See It In Action
From signing in to following up — the same secure flow whether you’re seen on-demand or by appointment. Sign in, tell us what is going on, complete a guided intake, and connect with a licensed physician. Your intake helps the physician prepare and can be added to your YourMD health record. You choose your visit type at booking — video ($50), audio ($40), or secure chat ($20).
Silent visual walkthrough — captions describe each step. Demonstration using sample information; actual screens and visit flow may vary.

Your Journey
Most patients complete intake, registration, and identity verification in under 10 minutes. Account activation typically takes 1 business day.
Before creating an account, you'll complete a guided intake questionnaire tailored to your treatment area — weight loss, men's health, hair loss, or general care. This gives your physician a clinical picture before you even meet.
Your answers pre-fill your account automatically — you won't need to re-enter anything during registration.
After intake, you're directed to registration. Your intake data is already linked — just set up your login credentials and secure your account.
Two-factor authentication is mandatory. It protects your health records from unauthorized access — even if your password is compromised.
Before any prescription can be written, we verify that you are who you say you are. This is called IAL2 — Identity Assurance Level 2 — the federal standard used by healthcare platforms for safe prescribing.
IAL2 (Identity Assurance Level 2) is the NIST standard that verifies a person's identity is real and belongs to them. We require it because prescribing medications to the wrong person isn't just a legal issue — it's a patient safety issue.
Prevents someone else from obtaining prescriptions in your name and creating a false medical record linked to your identity.
Federal and state law requires licensed physicians to verify patient identity before prescribing. IAL2 satisfies this requirement for telehealth.
Your ID and face scan are encrypted at rest using the same standards used by banks. Our team reviews them manually — no AI face-matching software.
Once you submit your identity documents, our team manually reviews them to confirm everything matches. This human review step is by design — we don't rely solely on automated software.
Account activation is required before booking any appointment. This step cannot be skipped — it is how we ensure every patient on our platform is who they say they are.
Once activated, your patient portal is fully unlocked. Your intake data, preferred pharmacy, and medical history are already pre-loaded for your physician.
Inside the Portal
Real screens from the YourMD patient portal — the same ones you'll see after your first sign-in.
Your first sign-in opens a short tour of the portal — about a minute, and you can skip it anytime. Everything it covers stays available in the sidebar.
Add your contact details, pharmacy and insurance card, then review and sign your telehealth consent and privacy forms. Consents take about a minute and are required before your first visit.
Book a video, audio or chat visit for a time that works for you — or take a same-day slot when your physician is available. You join from any phone or computer, no app to install.
Treatment subscriptions are flat monthly self-pay pricing with medication included. General telehealth consults can be paid by card or billed to insurance where accepted — your choice at booking.
After each visit you can read your doctor's notes, see orders and lab results, and track prescriptions — all in your Health Record. Download or share it whenever you need it.
Profile & Settings puts your insurance card, payment methods, signed consents, documents and prescriptions one tap away — and lets you authorize a guardian or representative to help manage your care.
Add allergies, medications, conditions and surgeries — including care you received elsewhere. Every entry is labeled by source, so you and your physician can always tell what you reported from what was prescribed or verified at YourMD.
Your session locks itself after a period of inactivity, the way HIPAA expects. Set a 6–8 digit PIN to unlock it quickly instead of retyping your full password.
Browse physician-supervised plans, complete a health intake, and a board-certified MD reviews it and writes your prescription when appropriate. Medication ships to your door and you can message your doctor anytime.
Every plan lists its monthly price and exactly what is included before you subscribe — no hidden add-ons, and no insurance required.
Telehealth consent, privacy and HIPAA acknowledgment, billing terms, and treatment-specific consents are reviewed and signed in the portal — then stored in your record where you can reread them anytime.
Secure, HIPAA-compliant messaging with your care team — separate threads for clinical and administrative questions. Replies typically arrive within one business day.
Appointment confirmations, prescription updates, lab results, billing and subscription notices all land in one place, filterable by type.
See a doctor now, schedule ahead, request refills, check records and read messages from your phone — no app required.
Search a structured FDA medication database for side effects, indications and interactions, in plain language. These are educational tools only — they do not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and they never replace your physician.
Answer a few questions, add photos, and a board-certified physician responds within 12 hours. It opens with a safety check — anything urgent is routed to a live visit, urgent care or 911 instead of waiting on an async reply.
Invoices, payments, outstanding balance and receipts in one view — with saved payment methods managed through Stripe. Receipts are what you submit for HSA/FSA reimbursement.
Search verified manufacturer savings programs and copay cards for the medication you take, and download, email or share any card. Open to anyone, patient or not.
The navigation guide lists every section available to you, with what lives where. Sections you have not unlocked yet are greyed out, so nothing is hidden — you can always see what is there.
Visits, prescriptions, labs, documents and subscriptions all write back to one health record that you own — and can export or share whenever you want.

Your Options
Getting care shouldn’t depend on one rigid appointment system. Whether you need care immediately, later today, or at a time that fits your schedule, YourMD offers multiple ways to connect with a licensed clinician — designed to adapt to physician availability so you always have the best available option.
When a physician is online and accepting patients, request a visit with a single click. Your request goes straight to an available doctor, who has up to 5 minutes to accept it. Once accepted, your consultation begins over secure chat, phone, or video — whichever visit type you chose.
Best for:
If no physician is immediately available — or you simply prefer to plan ahead — book against a physician’s real-time calendar availability. Choose the date and time that works best for you and we’ll reserve it with the provider you picked.
Ideal if:
Sometimes you don’t need to speak with a clinician live. Complete a structured medical questionnaire and a licensed clinician reviews it carefully and responds within 12 hours. They may provide treatment recommendations, prescribe medication when clinically appropriate and legally permitted, request additional information, or recommend scheduling a live visit.
Convenient when:
YourMD is not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, thoughts of harming yourself, or any other life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Do not wait for a telehealth response.
Physician Availability
When a physician is online and accepting patients, you’ll see the option to request an immediate visit. When they’re unavailable, you’ll see available appointment times or the option to submit an asynchronous consultation whenever that’s clinically appropriate. This flexibility reduces unnecessary waiting while letting physicians safely manage patient demand.
Every patient is different. Some need immediate attention. Some prefer to book ahead. Others simply want a doctor to review their information without interrupting their day. Instead of forcing everyone into the same workflow, YourMD supports multiple care pathways so you can choose the option that fits your situation.
We’re intentionally expanding our physician network in phases so we can maintain high standards of care while increasing availability. As more clinicians join YourMD, patients will benefit from expanded coverage, additional appointment times, and greater access to on-demand care. Our long-term goal is simple: make it easier for patients to reach licensed clinicians whenever and however they need care.
During Your Visit
Your telehealth visit works just like an in-person appointment — minus the waiting room.
Confirm you're in a private location before your session begins. We protect your health information by keeping sessions out of public spaces.
See your provider's real-time status. Your session starts automatically when they're ready — no clicking "join" or refreshing.
Your provider already reviewed your intake. They discuss your history, examine your concerns, and build your treatment plan — the same as an in-office visit.
Visit notes saved to your record. Prescriptions sent to your pharmacy. Message your provider with follow-up questions anytime.
Insurance
Telehealth consultations with United Medical Group PLLC may be covered by your private insurance — and you can optionally have us submit the claim on your behalf.
Under federal law and Nevada state law (NRS 687B.0303), insurance companies are required to cover telehealth services at the same rate as in-person visits. You do not need an in-network provider. If your insurer denies a telehealth claim, you have the right to appeal — and we provide all documentation needed to support it.
Optionally add your private insurance details during intake or in your patient profile. Takes 30 seconds.
After your visit, we submit a professional claim (CMS-1500) to your insurer with the correct diagnosis and procedure codes.
If your insurer pays the claim, great — you owe nothing beyond any applicable copay or deductible.
Your saved credit card is charged the standard consultation fee only. No balance billing. We never charge more than the original consult cost.
Complete your intake in 5 minutes. Your physician review is waiting.
