Prescriptions and Nevada Law

Under Nevada Revised Statutes §§ 629.515, 630.020, 633.016 and 453.3643, an established patient-physician relationship via telehealth video consultation meets the requirements for prescribing non-controlled medications in Nevada. YourMD does not prescribe controlled substances (no opioids, no stimulants, no benzodiazepines). All prescriptions are reviewed by a Nevada-licensed physician before dispensing.

How It Works

1. Complete a free 5-minute health screening online
2. A Nevada-licensed physician reviews your screening in a free async consult (typically within 24–72 hours) — no appointment needed; your physician contacts you if a phone or video visit is needed
3. Your prescription is sent to a pharmacy that works for you: a local retail pharmacy such as Walmart, or a low-cost online pharmacy (GLP-1s are billed and shipped by the manufacturer pharmacy). You pay the pharmacy directly for medication. A compounded medication is quoted to you as a final price proposal (medication + shipping + care) that you accept; you make one payment to YourMD for that proposal and the licensed compounding pharmacy ships it.
