Considering isotretinoin?
Isotretinoin (often known by the former brand Accutane) requires a separate eligibility review, iPLEDGE requirements and appropriate monitoring. Your clinician will determine whether this pathway can be provided or whether an in-person referral is needed. Enrollment does not guarantee isotretinoin treatment.
Tell your clinician about pregnancy, plans for pregnancy, breastfeeding, other medications and side effects. Follow your individual treatment instructions.
How monthly updates work
- Complete your clinical intake and share clear photos through the secure patient portal.
- Your physician reviews your information and recommends a treatment plan. Prescriptions go to your chosen retail pharmacy; any needed lab orders can be taken to a local lab that accepts them.
- Each month, send progress photos, questions, side effects and changes through the portal's async check-in. You can submit while your clinician is offline.
- Your clinician reviews your update and lab results, adjusts the care plan when appropriate, and may call with questions or arrange a live visit.
No compounded medication or automatic medication shipment is included. Confirm pharmacy and laboratory prices and insurance coverage directly with those providers.
