If a phone or video visit is clinically needed, your physician will contact you. You can message your physician with questions at any time.

Your physician writes a prescription tailored to your situation — FDA-approved commercial medications, or compounded preparations where appropriate (topical skincare and hair combos, sublingual ED troches), which are not FDA-approved and are prepared by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy (for example Hallandale Pharmacy or Valiant Compounding Pharmacy); the dispensing pharmacy is named on your prescription label. Non-GLP-1 medications ship in unbranded, temperature-controlled packaging where needed. Brand GLP-1s (Wegovy®, Zepbound®, the Wegovy® pill, Foundayo™) are billed and dispensed separately by NovoCare®, LillyDirect™, or your insurance-covered pharmacy; YourMD does not ship GLP-1s or supply injection kits.

Follow-up labs (for longevity protocols and where clinically indicated) are ordered and reviewed through the same workflow.
Your membership includes a free async consult: a board-certified physician personally reviews your health screening before your first prescription and for any major change (dose jump, medication switch, new product) — no appointment needed. If a phone or video visit is clinically needed, your physician will contact you. You get physician judgment on every prescription without booking a visit you don't need.
Every YourMD physician is a board-certified internal medicine MD. That training specifically emphasizes systems-level thinking — recognizing that a weight change might be thyroid, that an ED symptom might be a blood pressure drug, that a headache might be the medication you started three weeks ago. NPs and PAs are excellent clinicians, but their training is structured differently. We think internal medicine training matters for the range of care we offer.
YourMD prescribes only brand GLP-1s (Wegovy®, Zepbound®, the Wegovy® pill, Foundayo™) and never compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. Your physician manages titration along the labeled dose ladder — moving up when you are ready, slowing down or holding at a dose when side effects call for it.
Your care is documented in a real electronic health record with SOAP notes, encounter history, prescription tracking, and tamper-evident audit logs. If you ever need to transfer care to another physician or request records, we have them in standard medical format.
We don't prescribe controlled substances. No opioids, no stimulants, no benzodiazepines. This is a deliberate practice design: it keeps our compliance posture clean, our audit trail simple, and our focus on conditions where evidence-based care shines. For controlled substance needs, you'll need an in-person physician.

No. A physician reviews your screening in a free async consult, typically within 24–72 hours. If a phone or video visit is needed, your physician will contact you.
Yes. We provide superbill documentation for HSA/FSA reimbursement where your benefits allow it.
Our compounded programs are typically cash-pay. GLP-1 medication can be billed to your insurance where covered (the GLP-1 Concierge plan adds prior-authorization support). Other commercial prescriptions can sometimes be filed through your insurance depending on formulary — discuss with your physician at your consult.
Your physician will work with you to adjust the dose, switch medications, or stop entirely. Our model is to find what works for you, not to sell you the same product forever.
